HOMEWORK(DEVOIRS)
1. Pick a French speaking country (page 8 in textbook)
2. Draw (or print) the flag on one side of the paper
3. Search the Internet to find a famous person from that country.
Consider people from the following categories:
Actor
Writer
Singer
Dancer
Soccer Player
Sports player
Scientists
Artists
Poets
Other
4.Write or type all of the following sentences for that person (Use "je")

For this assignment you may choose verbs that are not on the list or even in the book since there are so many important things that people do that aren't in the French 1 book! (The president directs the country, for example, and artists paint, soccer players score goals, etc.)

5. Practice your pronunciation! You will be presenting on Monday
Even though many teachers hate Google Translate, it is good for getting a basic accent. 
To hear the accent, simply type in French and then hit the speaker icon. I believe that the maximum number of characters that Google Translate will speak is 100.
The accent on Quizlet is even better. To hear it, you will need to make flash cards and set the language for French. You can probably figure out how to do it (create an account, etc.)
