Unit 2 Test Monday!!!
You must know how to translate all of the phrases from yesterday's activity.
And here are some more phrases that you must know to do well on the test. Translate them!
Optional, but I sure would recommend it!

Restaurant:
What would you like, Mister?
Give me a crêpe, please (remember, you're speaking formally to a waiter)
Here's a crêpe
Loan me 95 euros
Weather:
It is nice
Friday it rains. The weather is bad. il fait du vent = windy  il fait du brouillard
Small talk:
What is your name?
How old are  you?
When is your birthday?

Translate the following into French

What time is it?
--It's a quarter to eight in the morning
Hey! Let's go (allons) to a restaurant to eat! (or say "shall we go (page 48))
--Ok, yes, I would like to eat an omelette and a croissant today.
What do you want? Are you hungry?
If you please, I would like a coffee.
Mmmmm, I like the restaurant. ("mmmm, yummy" is "miam!" in French)
--No. I don't like the restaurant. It costs one hundred euros.
[To say "not" in French, you place "ne" in front of the verb and "pas" after it.
  For example, "je ne veux pas" means "I don't want"
  and "Tu ne parles pas français" means "You don't speak French"]
--And it is cold.
Yes, it rains and it snows. It is winter.
--No! It is fall!
What is the date today?
--It's December four, two thousand fourteen. It is Friday.
Is it winter? No, it is fall. Winter starts December twenty-first.
--(optional) Hey, you said that it is Friday! Friday is tomorrow! You are a true dork
