July 14, Bastille Day

Happy Bastille Day!
Liberté, Egalité, Fraternité!

Similar to the high drama of the new movie Les Misérables, the uprising of July 14, 1789 turned France upside down and led to it's future state focused on Liberté, Egalité, Fraternité!

Here's a short video  discussing Bastille Day.

So, I just discovered an absolutely amazing site: Duolingo.com YOU HAVE TO TRY IT!
The site is free and rivals Rosetta Stone.
And the story behind it is fascinating: Some guys realized they could translate Wikipedia (all of it!) into foreign languages if they had people translate real documents in the Duolingo program. It's an intriguing concept because it means that you will be helping translate
Wikipedia into French as you play the games on the Duolingo site, when you reach the high levels.
