DEVOIRS: Traduisez les phrases (voyez/see la page 262):
1. Mother: We are looking for an elegant, inexpensive dress.
Mère: Nous cherchons une robe élégante et bon marchée.
2. Daughter: I think that (que) it is very important is fashionable and that (que) it is not out of style.
Fille: Je pense qu' il est très important qu'elle est à la mode et qu'elle n'est pas démodée (démodée acts as an adjective describing the dress, so it has to have an extra "e" to make it feminine)
3. Mother: And it must be a dress that is not at all sexy. The dresses that her friends wear are too short.
Mère: Et il faut qu'elle (the dress) n'est pas du tout sexy. Les robes que ses  amis portent (more than one) sont trop courtes.
4. Daughter: But (the) dresses like that are in style, Mom!
Fille: Mais les robes comme ça sont à la mode, maman!
5. Mother: I don't think that they are good. And they cost too much.
Mère: Je ne trouve/pense pas qu'elles sont bonnes.  Elles coûtent trop.

but it's helpful (oui, c'est beaucoup à écrire, mais c'est très utile)
