Français un
Review: the word "un" means "1" as well as "a or an." You say "un garçon" for "a boy" but "une fille" for a girl
All words in French are male or female. Memorize which whenever you learn a new word. Sometimes you'll need to look it up in the back of the text where there is a dictionary : )
The words "le" and "la" mean "the." Le is masculine and la is feminine.
AUJOURD'HUI (TODAY):
Hand in workbook assignments, pages 15 and 16.
(27) C'est un . . .
(30) Dialogue
Les numéros 1-100
(31) Tu connais?
DEVOIRS:
1.IF YOU HAVEN'T GIVEN YOURSELF A NEW NAME OF SOMEONE FROM YOUR COUNTRY, RESEARCH IT AND ADD IT TO YOUR CARD. (Go to the Internet. "Famous people from Senegal," etc.)
2.Translate the dialog on page 34 of the text into English. Be prepared to say it in front of the class. Remember, there is no need to ever stress because everyone is stressed about speaking in front of the class.
