Movie Project
Homework: Lots this weekend. Workbook, pages 165-168. 10 points, due at first of period Monday.
You will have to learn the material on your own. It is found in chapter 19 of the textbook.
Movie.
ROUGH DRAFT DUE MONDAY--20 POINTS
You may write it in English, but the French version is due Tuesday, so I'd recommend just doing it in French this weekend, too.
If it would help your group work collaboratively, you may go to this google doc and each contribute some sentences:

BIG HOMEWORK WEEKEND (sorry, but we have to take the unit examTuesday so that we can finish unit 6 by the end of the year)
To prepare for your Unit 5 exam on Tuesday, I'd like you to spend some time on the Internet reviewing flashcards made Valette and Valette. They are found at the following site:
classzone.com
You will also want to spend considerable time reviewing the grammar concepts in the unit. You'll be in trouble if you don't know the gender of words, so you should spend some extra time reviewing flashcards from the first four units as well.
Today we will translate the following into English. Your homework assignment is to FINISH these translations. 10 points Monday at the first of the period.
NOTE: Those of you who don't do your homework until class starts will not get your points. These points are for people who do it at home, like Rubi, Molly, Eric, Macie, Jose M, Gina, and, uh, I'm having a hard time thinking of very many others. Be one of the others this time.
Translate into English:
Est-ce que vous allez là-bas?
Oui. Je vais avec Jean-Paul.
Vraiment? Où est-il?
Lui, il vient du café et après ça, nous allons au cinéma.
And this one into French:
Hey! I like your sports car.
Thank you. But I prefer Marc and Jeanne's car. My car is too small.
Yes, all their cars are cool.
You like sports cars, but you don't like sports, do you?
No, I don't play soccer or tennis. My sister and I , we play piano.

Computer lab assignment yesterday. The flash cards you guys made are great! Let's go over some of them
Note: some of you need to go back and
1. fix the title of you flash cards so that it reads: Discovering French 1 Isom [and then add the category of words, such as "Ma Maison" followed by a forward slash and then the English translation. Here are three examples:
Discovering French 1 Isom--Ma Maison/My House
Discovering French 1 Isom --La Description/Description (adjectives)
Discovering French 1 Isom --Les mois de l'année/Months of the Year
Two other things to fix:
accent marks été, not ètè, for example
be sure that the language is set for French (I think you all did this)
I will walk around and give points as you're taking your quiz on the words from pages 197 and 200
