Les directions à une ville intéressante
HOMEWORK: Practice Test (Tests de contrôle)
Pages 236 and 237 Parts 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5
Mr. Isom's example of directions. Look at this for examples of ways to say things and feel free to modify some of them for your own directions.
Chromebooks
Find an interesting city in a French speaking country. A good way to do this is to Google "tourist destinations in Québec/France/Tahiti/Madagascar/Morocco/ etc.
Find a hotel in that city to direct us to
Find a monument in that city to direct us to
Create a Quizlet deck: Les directions à (your city)
Be sure to select French language for the French directions and English for the English
Use Google maps or some map to find directions. Sometimes you can search for directions
"Directions to Mont Saint Michelle" and something will pop up.
A map will show you which autoroute to take.
If you want to go nuts (yay!), you could find out what train to take from what train station or tell us where to rent a car.
Grading:
C for Common work
B for Beyond common work
A for Above beyond
On Wed/Thur I would like you to add specific details to get you to the "A" level.
New vocabulary to try/Utilizez le nouveau vocabulaire:
Passez (pass) le Woodburn Outlet Mall
Ensuite (then), allez à Portland
L'IKEA est à gauche. Continuez mais ne tournez pas à Long-term Parking.
Suivez (follow) la route à Short-term Parking
Ensuite (next)
Et puis (and then)
Vous allez arriver (you will arrive/you will get to/you're going to arrive)
